Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Lafayette, LA, The Gauge House has established a strong presence and industry-leading reputation in the Gulf Coast market. Ryan Elwell and his father acquired the company in 2000 and have been running it ever since. In 2007 TGH introduced the bundling concept as the company expanded into kits that included gauges, fittings, valves and tubing.

Expanding Footprint
In the mid-2010s the company continued to invest throughout the commodity cycle to bring on additional product lines and expand the Lafayette facility to better service its customers. In 2019 TGH acquired the assets of LA Gauge to open its Houma location. In 2023 The company established its Baton Rouge office to offer local services and provide more inventory for its customers. The Gauge House team continues to focus on servicing its customers and expanding into new markets.
